Our list is not a lengthy tour of the worlds vineyards.
We plan to develop it slowly, but do not anticipate that it will ever run to hundreds of wines.
Our initial range of wines come from the resurgent Languedoc-Roussillon region of France, and the little known Gascony area of France. We are slowly building up ventures with other producers in France, Spain and Lebanon.
What we do is taste and select the best wines from the small producers at the best value-for-money.
All our wines are real.
They are made by committed and enthusiastic people, who care for their product.
You will be able to re-order the wines you like.
Jonathan Hesford of Domaine Treloar, in Roussillon, hailing from Yorkshire, has quickly made an impact, having three red wines in the Hachette Guide 2008, and one wine selected by Jancis Robinson for her Top 30 Reds for Christmas (Financial Times Dec 2008).
Along side these wines he has a delicious dessert wine which goes excellent with chocolates
Karen & Nick Kitchener of Domaine Lauroux in Gascony, originally from Cheshire, produce a range of wines/aperitifs and also Bas Armagnac. Their aperitif Floc de Gascogne has an entry in France’s Hachette Guide 2007, and their 15 Year Armagnac was awarded Oz Clarke’s Gold Star at the London Wine Fair in October 2008.
