Domaine de Lauroux is a vineyard in the Cotes de Gascogne "appellation" owned by British couple Nick and Karen Kitchener who left behind a comfortable life in the North of England to "live the dream".

Domaine de Lauroux is a38 hectare winery and vineyard in the Gascony owned by English couple Nicholas and Karen Kitchener who in March 2004, left a comfortable life in Cheshire to pursue their dream of creating quality, affordable wines.

Lauroux practices sustainable viticulture. The ethos of using minimal chemical intervention coupled with bio dynamically-approved treatments and traditional methods of viticulture produces clean, fresh, well-balanced wines.

 

Nick and Karen came to the UK for the London Wine Fayre last October where Oz Clark highly commended their white and red wines and also awarded a gold star for their 15ans Bas Armagnac.

Another note to add is that their wines are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
